Meagan Shadeck enters her third year as Grove City College's assistant strength and conditioning coach.
Prior to joining the Grove City athletic department, Shadeck served as assistant track and field coach at Slippery Rock University from 2007 to 2021.
During Shadeck’s 15 years as The Rock’s throws and strength & conditioning coach, she helped develop some of the program's premier all-time student-athletes, including one Olympic trials qualifier.
As a certified strength and conditioning coach (CSCS) at SRU, Shadeck developed training programs for several Rock sports teams. After stepping away from track and field, Shadeck worked with SRU’s volleyball team serving as volunteer strength and conditioning coach for two seasons.
Shadeck lives in Grove City with her husband Nathan and two daughters. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Wisconsin-Whitewater, along with CSCS certification.
She competed in the hammer throw at Whitewater, qualifying for the NCAA Division III Championships during her career. She also earned Academic All-America honors in track and field.
