Eli Ribbe enters his fifth season as Grove City College assistant men's soccer coach. In 2025, Ribbe helped guide Grove City to the Presidents' Athletic Conference title, a berth in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament and a 15-3-2 overall record.
Juniors Noah Gray and Colton Hudson both earned United Soccer Coaches All-America honors in 2025. Gray ealso earned the conference's Offensive Player of the Year award and Hudson captured Defensive Player of the Year recognition.
In his first season, 2022, Ribbe helped the Wolverines post a 10-0 mark in Presidents' Athletic Conference, along with the conference's regular season title. The Wolverines also advanced to the conference tournament finals in both 2023 and 2024.
Overall, Grove City has compiled a 48-17-11 record with Ribbe on the coaching staff. That includes a 33-5-4 mark against league foes.
Ribbe's coaching career began as assistant coach for Grand Rapids FC of United Soccer League 2. He has also coached club teams for Midwest United and Michigan Rangers.Â
Ribbe started two seasons at left back for the semi-pro West Michigan Bearings of the Midwest Premier League. He also captained Calvin University's reserve team for three seasons.
He also spent the spring 2025 semester as the athletic department's interim recruiting coordinator, where he worked closely with all 24 programs within the department.
Ribbe graduated summa cum laude from Calvin, earning a bachelor's degree in kinesiology - sports management.
