Amy Smith

Amy Smith joined the Grove City College coaching staff in the Spring of 2024. She recently completed her first full season as assistant men's and women's golf coach at the College.

She graduated from Grove City College in 1985 with degrees in both Elementary Education and Business Administration and went on to earn her Master’s degree in Education from the University of Pittsburgh. After teaching, raising a family, and volunteering in the Mt. Lebanon community, schools, church, and other ministries, she worked as an Area Developer for Pittsburgh Young Life, a position from which she retired in April.

Amy is an active member of the Western Pennsylvania Women’s Golf Association (WPWGA) and Grove City Country Club (GCCC) where she serves as the President of the Ladies Golf Association. At GCCC, she is the 2023 trophy winner of the Member-Member Event (with Jocelyn Thompson ’80), Monroe/Soppitt Award, and the President’s Cup.

Amy is the mother of four adult children and resides at Lake Latonka with her husband, Ken, a 1984 Grove City College graduate and current professor of Entrepreneurship. Together, they enjoy playing golf and pickleball, entertaining, traveling, and being involved in their church and community.
