Sara Shepson recently completed her third season as an assistant swimming coach at Grove City College.
A decorated performer at Wheaton (Ill.) College, Shepson concluded her stellar career as a 10-time NCAA Division III All-American.
She helped Wheaton capture three College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) titles. Shepson earned four letters and twice captained the team.
A standout anchor for Wheaton’s relay squads, Shepson capped her swimming career by earning CoSIDA Academic All-America honors.
In 1999, Shepson took over as head men’s and women’s coach of the newly-founded swimming and diving programs at Gordon (Mass.) College. She helped the Gordon program quickly become competitive in the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association.
Prior to joining the Grove City staff, Shepson coached youth programs in North Carolina and Georgia while raising her four young children.
