GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Grove City College junior Lauren Kardos (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) earned Presidents' Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week honors Tuesday afternoon in recognition of her recent performance at Allegheny College's Guy & Jeanne Kuhn Memorial Invitational.

Kardos finished sixth at the two-day event September 21-22 by compiling a two-day score of 151. Her 73 tied for the low round over the first 18 holes of the tournament. Kardos then carded a 78 in the second round.

This is Kardos's second Golfer of the Week award this fall. She also earned the award September 9 after capturing medalist at the September 6 Thiel Invitational in Hermitage.

The Grove City women's golf team returns to action Saturday at the Franciscan Invitational in Steubenville, Ohio.
