GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's golf team made its final preparations for the upcoming Presidents' Athletic Conference Fall Championships by earning fourth place at the 10-team Grove City Fall Invitational, held Monday afternoon at Grove City Country Club.
Grove City finished with a team score of 347. Westminster won the event with 323 while Division II Seton Hill finished second with a team score of 327. Division II PennWest Clarion placed third with 340.
Junior
Lauren Kardos (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) led the Wolverines by finishing second overall. Kardos fired a 75, her second-lowest round of the fall 2025 season. She shot 39 on the front nine, then came in with a 36.
Sophomore
Gabrielle Kinneer (Mount Pleasant, Pa./Mount Pleasant) placed 15th with an 86 while senior Hailey Muñoz (Sparta, N.J./Morris Catholic) followed with an 89, good for 20th place.Â
Sophomore
Sydney Goettel (Churchville, N.Y./Churchville-Chili) finished 36th with a round of 97 while freshman
Mackenzie Boley (Mogadore, Ohio/Field) rounded out the lineup with a 98. Boley finished 41st.
Four Grove City players competed as individuals at Monday's 65-golfer event. Senior
Rebekah Gaehring (Hawthorne, N.J./Hawthorne) finished 34th overall with a 96. Senior
Julianna Jacobs (Conneaut Lake, Pa./Conneaut) took 44th with a 101 while junior
Madylin Galbreath (Ellwood City, Pa./Ellwood City) placed 50th by carding a 106. Sophomore
Alyssa Shaw (Carlisle, Pa./West Shore Christian) placed 64th with a 137.
Westminster's Ava Liburdi earned medalist with a 71.Â
Grove City will compete in the conference championship next Monday and Tuesday at Squaw Creek in Warren, Ohio.
